The Co-Pilot Experience is the perfect adventure for aspiring aviators and curious kids! This excursion transforms sightseeing into a hands-on learning opportunity by letting children step into the shoes of a real helicopter pilot. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the science and safety of flight before taking off in an exhilarating aerial tour over the coast. Make your child’s dreams “soar” with our expert pilots and crew members!
- Walk around the helicopter for a mini “preflight inspection”
- Sit in the cockpit and learn about the controls and gauges
- Take a photo in the pilot seat (and with the actual pilot!)
- A first flight certificate signed by your pilot
- Aerial beach tour (6 minutes of flight time)
- Experience hosts up to 3 people
What To Bring
- You don’t need to bring anything apart from your camera/cell phone for taking videos and photos.
- We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and dark-colored clothing for taking better photos.
- Light-colored clothing reflects on the transparent windows and can cause undesirable flares in your photos. This is why it is recommended to wear dark clothing when riding in a helicopter.

Three people is our max.
There is no age limit. Children aged 23 months and under qualify as lap children. So if you don’t mind them riding in your lap, they can ride at no extra charge.
The maximum per-passenger seat rating is 300 pounds. Per FAA regulations, we will require to weigh each passenger before the flight.
To keep our prices affordable, we fill all seats for each flight. The seating configuration varies per helicopter. Private (charter) flights are available.
